Sustainability as Crosscutting Strategy

Partnerships are a very important part of what we do. For us, the UN Global Agenda for 2030, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) form the flashlight for our path. We not only work towards enabling Nigeria achieve them, but we also consistently ensure that sustainability is enshrined in all our project approaches.

As a sustainability strategy, when an IDPs camp is in urgent need of water to meet the minimum standard of 15l/p/d, we commence with water trucking which eventually gives way to boreholes. After this, we train WASHCOMs to be able to maintain these facilities. Water is life….
